Giovanni Ponti, known as Gio (Milan, November 18, 1891 – Milan, September 16, 1979), is considered one of the masters of Italian architecture, and was also a designer and essayist, among the most important of the 20th century.
Alongside the great architectural works that bear his unmistakable signature, there is also a vast production in the field of furniture, as evidenced by his three Milanese homes, completely furnished "in the Ponti style"
